The cottage is situated in the small hamlet of Caneiro, which is close to the market town of Alvaiбzere. Alvaiбzere has several supermarkets, shops, cafes, weekly market, swimming pool, health centre and schools.
The historic town of Tomar, which is home to the UNESCO listed Convento do Cristo, is around 35 minutes drive from the property. Tomar is a popular town and has a variety of supermarkets, banks, health centres, sports centres, shops, restaurants, bus and train stations as well as historic monuments.
